What Actually Makes a Property Investment Strategy
A strategy is not a spreadsheet or a suburb pick. It's a coherent plan that connects your income, tax position, risk tolerance, and life horizon.
The word 'strategy' is overused in property. For most investors, what they call a strategy is really a single transaction dressed up in confident language.
A real strategy is a multi-decade plan that begins with where you want to be financially at retirement, works backwards through the assets required to get there, and only then considers individual purchases.
